Le Puech is a vine covered stone farmhouse, renovated in 2005 and comprised of 4 bedrooms (two doubles,two twins), two shower rooms and 35 ft long living room with integral well-equipped kitchen and dining area. The covered veranda overlooks the pool (8m x 5m) and is equipped for al fresco dining. The layout of the property is ideal for two families sharing. The garden is informally divided between the pool/sunbathing area and a 'wild' part for children to have fun in.

Le Puech offers complete privacy amongst rolling hillside and pastureland. The furnishings are comfortable whilst being reasonably child-proof. There is a CD player and TV and video/DVD in the living room, with a portable CD player for outside (there are no immediate neighbours to complain about noise). There is a barbecue and a full-sized outdoor table-tennis table,a basket-ball hoop,and bicycles for adults and children, as well as a selection of games for children and adults. There are also a couple of musical instruments (acoustic guitar and electronic keyboard) and a selection of paperbacks.

2005 was the first year that we rented out Le Puech and we received very favourable comments on the evaluation sheets returned by our clients for 2005, 2006 and 2007. We can provide commendatons from previous guests upon request. Le Puech represents excellent value for money.

Notes : Linen is provided free of charge and there are fans in the bedrooms for truly hot summer nights.

Other Information

Extra Notes
The pool was fitted with a new liner last year and is alarmed but not fenced. There is a sunbathing "deck" beside the pool for which loungers and sunshades are provided. The kitchen has a dishwasher, microwave, electric kettle, fridge and freezer, with a hob and oven that easily accommodates cooking for as many as 8. We have provided more than enough pots and pans, crockery and cutlery etc.The washing machine is in the utility room downstairs,along with an extra fridge (for cold drinks by the pool). The property is looked after for us by Karen and David, an English couple who have lived in the area for many years. They clean the pool twice a week and live close enough to help out if any unforeseen problem arises. Unfortunately, we cannot allow pets on the premises.
Golf Details
Golf - there is a 9 hole golf course at L'Albenque (20 minutes drive) and an 18 hole course just outside Rodez (one hour's drive).
