Why go on holiday to Florida ?

Looking for an adventurous holiday / vacation? Plan a trip to Florida!  Known as the Sunshine State, Florida has some of the best tourist attractions in the world, including Universal Studios theme park, Busch Gardens and the favourite of them all, Walt Disney World (everyone turns into a child when they enter this fascinating theme park!). With an abundance of things to do in and around the Orlando area alone, you will never be stuck for choice.

What is there to see?

Orlando is considered to be the face of Florida and is generally recognised for the large numbers of movie studios, water parks, theme parks and entertainment facilities that it has to offer. It also has the largest man-made attractions in the world. The fresh water lakes, the wild swamplands (the Everglades) and the Keys (a group of small islands located off the Southern tip of Florida) are just some of the natural attractions to see and visit on your trip to Florida. You may be able to spot many Hollywood stars, if you manage to take a trip to either Miami Beach or Palm Beach, located at the southeastern tip of Florida. Fort Lauderdale and Clearwater / St. Petersburgh are a few of the more popular resorts for a family holiday by the beach, which will offer you an array of watersports. Beautiful beaches and crystal blue waters finely complement the tropical climate of South Florida. Tallahassee (the capital of Florida) also called the ‘other Florida ’ with its cool climate, oak forest and rolling hills has a different feeling. Tampa is a place that can offer you Busch Gardens, an absolutely immense theme park, dedicated to thrilling rides alongside some of the most exquisite wildlife in the world.

What is there to do?

You name it - and Florida will have it! Whatever you wish to do or see, the Sunshine State will have it (apart from skiing maybe!). Major sporting events including basketball, football, polo, golf and tennis. Florida is also a golfers paradise with some of the best designed courses on the planet. If you are into your music, concerts by all walks of musicians can be found in Florida. The food - well, whatever type of food that you are looking for - Florida will have it. From Cajun cooking to traditional good old Burger and French Fries - a culinary delight.
