Why go on holiday to the  Canary Islands ?

Arguably the best all year round weather, within a short haul flight, from the majority of Europe. A group of islands located just off the Western coast of Morocco, the Canary Islands have been a popular holiday destination for the past 30 years. The islands themselves have a varied contrast to each other; Tenerife is a volcanic island and probably the most lively of the island group, Gran Canaria having immense rolling sand dunes for its beaches, which remind you more of a desert than anything else, Lanzarote and Fuerteventura being aimed more towards a family vacation destination.   

What is there to see?

Tenerife - Santa Cruz is a good choice if you are a historian. You can enjoy a breathtaking view from a cable car if you are willing to ascend the volcano of Pico del Teide.

Gran Canaria - With over 400 hectares of sand dunes in Maspalomas, it gives you an impression of the Sahara Desert. You can also visit one of the best markets in San Mateo.

Lanzarote - The Papagayo and Playa Blanca beaches can provide you with a memorable experience. They are stretches of beaches and sandy coves, all the way along the Southern coast.

Fuerteventura - Islote de Lobos Nature Reserve can be reached via a short boat ride from Corralejo. A perfect opportunity to see an awesome selection of plants and birds which cannot be found any where else on earth.

La Palma - At the observatory in Muchachos, you have the opportunity to gaze at the stars through Europe’s largest telescope.
